About Us

PhillyStudentDoctors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2022 whose purpose is to create a community of support for Black student doctors in health professional programs throughout Philadelphia. Black students in health professional programs are usually one of a few an d typically don’t have as much support as their maj ority counterparts. PhillyStudentDoctors was founded b y Temple Dental and Drexel Medical students who desired to connect and bond with other students like themselves.
