2023 Black Excellence Scholarship Application

In support of the educational endeavors of future health professionals, Philly Student Doctors is pleased to offer the Black Excellence Health Professional Scholarship as part of the second annual Black Excellence Gala. The winning applicants will receive a minimum $1,000 scholarship to support their studies. Applications are DUE SATURDAY APRIL 1st, 2023 at 11:59 pm.

All applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration:
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or prerequisite courses at a college or university in the city of Philadelphia, OR 

- Current predoctoral student at a Philadelphia school and a general member of Philly Student Doctors 

- Be an underrepresented minority student
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Submit application, essay, CV, and most recent unofficial transcript 

- Letter of recommendation (predoctoral students only)
- Scholarship is open to non-traditional students
